1. Click the Apple Logo and open System Settings

2. Scroll down the left sidebar and click the Desktop & Dock settings option.

3. Now, scroll the right sidebar until you see the widgets section. Here, enable the checkbox for Show Widgets on the Desktop and In Stage Manager options.

Now, regardless of whether you are using Stage Manger or a regular Mac desktop, you will be able to access and add widgets on your Mac desktop.
