I recently reviewed PITAKA’s Ultra-Slim case for iPhone Air, and people seem to love it. That said, many users wanted a robust case that would provide more protection. So in this article, I will unbox and review the PITAKA Aramid UltraGuard case for the iPhone 17 Pro.

PITAKA Aramid UltraGuard case for the iPhone 17 Pro comes in a premium cardboard box with the front displaying the case design with its main features.
Opening the box, you get the case and some paperwork. Here’s a look at the case from all sides. Notice that the case features metal buttons, precise cutouts for ports, and magnets for MagSafe compatibility.
PITAKA Aramid UltraGuard case: features
Putting the case on the iPhone 17 Pro, it’s a perfect fit. It’s not so tight that the case will be hard to remove, nor so loose that it will fly off in case you drop your device.
The Aramid UltraGuard case is crafted from the same premium aramid fiber, offering an excellent in-hand feel. One notable improvement in this case is the Orca Resin coating applied to the fiber, which enhances overall strength and doubles its impact resistance.
Like previous PITAKA cases, the Aramid UltraGuard case is also scratch-resistant. Any scratches you notice on the case are mostly residues from other objects rubbing on the case, and can be removed using a microfiber cloth.
I like the metal buttons on this case. They are durable and satisfyingly clicky. The case also features a generous lip around the camera plateau and the display. However, as always, I will recommend that you install a screen protector for extra protection.
The final thing to talk about is the Camera Control button. It features a high-strength glass camera button that is smooth to touch and registers all swipes and presses without issues.
I am not sure who is using the Camera Button for any purpose other than launching the camera, but it’s there if you need it.
