Apple Launches the New iPhone SE: Starting at $399

Apple has just announced the new iPhone SE and it’s a banger. Starting at just $399, the iPhone SE 2020 is powered by the latest A13 Bionic chip. That means you are getting the same power as you get with the iPhone 11 Pro for less than half the price. As expected, the iPhone SE retains the design of the iPhone 8 and brings a 4.7-inch retina screen with True Tone technology.

The body is made of aerospace-grade aluminum and durable glass design with an all-black front and is available in black, white and (PRODUCT)RED. The biggest surprise is the inclusion of IP67 dust and water-resistance. It can survive 1 meter underwater for 30 minutes. No other smartphone brings this feature at this price range.

The new iPhone SE also brings the familiar Home button design, coated with sapphire crystal to be durable and to protect the Touch ID sensor. Talking about the camera, it brings a 12-megapixel f/1.8 aperture Wide camera. The camera system is powerful and can shoot 4K video up to 60fps. It also supports single-lens portrait mode with all the Portrait Lighting effects. Even the front camera supports portrait mode.

It is available in three colors and storage options; 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB models in black, white and (PRODUCT)RED starting at $399.

Apple has nailed the new iPhone SE. Not only it brings the latest processor but it’s also priced in such a way that it will kill any competition. And by retaining the smaller screen size and Touch ID, it is making all those iPhone users happy who were waiting to upgrade to a new iPhone but didn’t want to deal with gestures and Face ID.
